Who we are
Tiglit (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI-powered toddler behaviour advice service available at tiglit.com. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this service.

What data we collect
- Account information: Your name and email address when you sign up. If you use Google sign-in, we receive only your name and email from Google.
- Behaviour descriptions: Text, voice transcriptions, or video content you submit when requesting advice. This may include descriptions of your child's behaviour.
- Video content: If you upload a video, it is processed to extract still frames which are sent to our AI provider for analysis. Videos are deleted from our servers within 24 hours of upload. We do not retain video files long-term.
- Analysis history: The advice generated in response to your submissions, stored so you can review it later.
- Feedback and ideas: Any feedback or feature ideas you voluntarily submit through our feedback forms.
- Usage data: Basic analytics about how you use the app (pages visited, features used). We use PostHog for this, which does not use third-party advertising cookies.
- Payment information: Payment details are processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We only store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
Videos and images of children
Our commitment regarding children's data:
- ✓Videos you upload are used only to extract still frames for AI analysis. They are not stored permanently and are deleted within 24 hours.
- ✓We never use videos or images of children for AI training purposes.
- ✓We never share videos or images with third parties beyond what is required to provide the analysis service.
- ✓We do not perform facial recognition or create biometric profiles of any individuals.
- ✓Our service is intended for parents and caregivers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children.
How we use your data
- •To provide the behaviour analysis and fact-checking services you request.
- •To maintain your account and analysis history.
- •To process payments and manage your subscription.
- •To improve the service based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.
- •To respond to your feedback and support requests.
- •To send transactional emails (account confirmation, receipts). We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.
Third-party data processors
We use the following third-party services to operate Tiglit. Each acts as a data processor under our instructions:

Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, you have the following rights:

- →Right to erasure: Request deletion of your account and all associated data. We will action this within 30 days.
- →Right to portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- →Right to object: Object to processing of your data for any purpose.
- →Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@tiglit.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Data retention
- •Account data: retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- •Analysis history: retained while your account is active. You can delete individual analyses at any time.
- •Video uploads: deleted within 24 hours of upload.
- •Payment records: retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations.
- •Anonymised usage analytics: retained indefinitely in aggregated form.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication (Clerk) and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may prevent you from signing in.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
